HEY THERE…

I am so stoked you have found my site! I am going to assume that you have been looking for something…maybe you have been looking for some fitness inspiration or free workouts, healthy recipes that taste DELICIOUS, or maybe some health and wellness tips to help you transform your life like I did. I have learned TONS. I have learned a lot throughout my journey to a happy, healthy life! Whatever it is, I hope that I can be an inspiration and a resource to you.

Sooo I am sure you might be wondering who I am and what I am about. I am a fitness enthusiast who is passionate about health and wellness. I also love to learn and consider myself a “life learner”. So, when my passion for learning and my passion for health, wellness and fitness collide, my creative juices flow like none other and I get this wild idea to share what I have learned throughout my life in hopes that it can help someone else along their journey.  I love to cook healthy meals using whole, organic foods. I am an eating disorder survivor and a self-love junkie. I was diagnosed with anorexia (with purging tendencies) when I was a sophomore in high school (2008). I went through treatment, recovered, and I am here to share my story. Life happened and time continued to move on.

…And just when I thought I had it all together, I lost it all. The end of 2015 and beginning of 2016 I lost my health, happiness, short-term memory, job, and home. I found out that I had been living and working from home in a house infested with black mold. Long story short, through lab testing I found out that I have a genetic predisposition (only 25% of the population is genetically prone) to biotoxin-related illness (mold sickness/CIRS). My illness caused so many issues, but I will save the details for a future blog post as the obstacles I faced are a large part of who I am today. In hindsight, it was honestly probably the best thing to have happened at that moment in time. It was that push I needed to take back control of my life and my health.  With the treatment protocol I was placed on, and my health, wellness and fitness routine, I took back control of my health and happiness and as I sit here today I have never felt better.

There are a handful of pivotal moments in my life that have molded and shaped me into the women I am today. I can honestly say that without them, I would not be the confident, determined, resilient, and loving woman that I am.

 

I enjoy spending time with my husband and two kids…just kidding, they are only dogs, but they honestly might as well be kids. We literally go everywhere with them….yup, even the grocery store. They bring so much joy into our lives.

We spend most our free time enjoying the great outdoors. Montana has so much to offer and we truly do live in the LAST BEST PLACE. We love to camp, hike, kayak, and ride ATVs and dirt bikes. We are pretty much game for just about any adventure. There is nothing quite like the sun on your skin, wind in your hair, the scent of fresh mountain air, and the sound of rushing water and wildlife all at once. It is truly breathtaking.

Join me on this beautiful journey of health and wellness and create the life you deserve. I plan to share health, fitness, and wellness tips that I have used on my journey to a happy, healthy life. I have overcome so many struggles over the last 10 years but they have manifested into such incredible strength. It has taken me a  l o n g  time to be able to look in the mirror and love the woman looking back, but nothing worth having ever comes easy, right? How beautiful life can be when you treat yourself with love, kindness, and patience.
